SoccersAPISoccersAPIWidgets V2

What's new

Changes to Widgets V2 that you can see in your widget or in the configurator, newest first.

Changes reach every widget automatically: you never need new installation code for them. Dates are in UTC.

2 October 2026

New

  • Your own offers. Pro and Ultra can show their own bonus offers as a list, a grid, a single card or a strip in the match window, with three styles, colour overrides per theme, a featured "Top offer", and an optional bar that stays on screen while readers scroll. Each offer has its own countries, devices and end date. See Your own offers.
  • Free widgets can show banners and partner buttons managed by SoccersAPI. See Monetization.

Fixed

  • The space between team names and the score, and between tabs, no longer disappears after the widget updates.
  • The Modal bottom banner no longer offers a Sticky option: it always sits in the window's footer, in view.
  • A banner slot with styling only (for example Sticky or Background) and no image no longer shows an ad served by SoccersAPI. It stays empty until you add an image.

1 October 2026

New

  • Header and tabs (in Item window) sets how the header and its tabs sit in the window that opens over the widget: edge to edge, or together in one card with or without a border. By default it follows your layout preset. See What happens when visitors click.
  • Toolbar frame and League group frame (in Livescore layout) change the frame of the toolbar and of each competition. See Design your widget.
  • The window over the widget and the floating cards have a new header with the item's key facts (a match's score and status, a team's position and next match, a player's club, position and age), in your template's header colours, with the back, minimize and close buttons in its first row.
  • The general responsible-gambling notice is translated into the widget's 22 languages. Country texts stay in their country's language.
  • The public playground shows sample banners and a sample partner link, so you can see them working before adding your own.

Improved

  • Sticky banners stay in view while readers scroll, above the sticky toolbar and headers. See Sticky banners.
  • The window takes the widget's light or dark theme, dims the page a little less, and opens without animation for visitors who ask their device for reduced motion.
  • The search dialog: in the Carded layout the results sit in one rounded group; rows read right to left in Arabic and Persian; Show more is always reachable on phones.
  • The date strip keeps the selected day in view in right-to-left languages.
  • Opacity sliders in the configurator move in 1 % steps.
  • In the playground, designs exported from older versions of the editor are updated when you import them, with a note that lists what changed and a Keep previous look button.
  • The widget script is smaller and loads faster. Nothing changes on screen.

Fixed

  • Lineup shirts and names no longer paint over the window's header while scrolling.
  • An affiliate button styled Outline, Soft or Link stays readable on a coloured match header.
  • A compliance section saved with every notice text empty no longer hides the country's notice.
  • Ad-server slots served by SoccersAPI wait for the visitor's country to be detected before asking for an ad, and ask for non-betting ads when it cannot be detected.

30 September 2026

New

  • Details & effects: every detail a template sets (glows, bevels, gradients, extra colours and sizes) can now be changed in the configurator. See Design your widget.
  • Four new templates: Rabona, Vidiprinter, Tiki-Taka and Golden Goal. See the Template gallery.
  • Seven new languages: Georgian, Hindi, Indonesian, Persian (right to left), Romanian, Thai and Traditional Chinese, for 22 in all. Russian, Dutch, Greek, Vietnamese and Arabic widgets now get team and competition names in their own language. See Languages.
  • Saved configurations remember their template. If the template changes later, the configurator shows Saved version and Reset to saved design goes back to what you saved.

Improved

  • The template gallery was refreshed: Kickoff, Press Box and Floodlights among others, with football names, and some templates were retired. Configurations that use a retired template keep their design.
  • The public playground starts on the Kickoff template, in dark.
  • On phones, matches, teams, competitions and players open in one full-screen sheet, whether you use Modal or Floating cards.
  • Dark themes no longer show a light glow under cards.
  • Press Box headers follow its navy toolbar.

Fixed

  • Windows no longer open scrolled down to the active filter.

29 September 2026

New

  • Base template: the widget's own design with nothing added, first in the gallery.

Improved

  • While visitors read further down the livescore, live updates no longer reorder the competitions under them, and each competition keeps its open or closed state.

28 September 2026

New

  • Floating cards for teams, competitions and players, not only matches. Choose which types open as cards and how many can stay pinned (1 to 10).
  • Team names: Auto, Full name, Shortened name or Team code. Auto shows full names, and codes only on very narrow widgets.
  • New public documentation, with a full list of configurator options.

Improved

  • Cup brackets scroll round by round.
  • Statistic bars follow the corners of your template's buttons.
  • Several widgets on one page: each one opens and closes only its own windows.
  • The error card shows the real reason when the configuration cannot be loaded.
  • The Free iframe paints its own background in the widget's theme.
  • The public playground exports the design only; the admin has one Export configuration menu.
  • The public playground opens with Floating cards navigation.
